Although we share the same office space, it is to be understood that we are each independent contractors working in a common location. Each therapist is solely responsible for the treatment that they provide to their own clients.

Denise Caldwell


Denise Caldwell is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of clinical experience with children, teens, and adults plus more than 35 years of social work practice experience. She is a member of the Association of Play Therapists. She is a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor. She is also a member of the Theraplay Institute and has a Level one certification to use Theraplay as a treatment intervention.

She earned her master of social work degree at Temple University. She is also a certified family therapist from Philadelphia Guidance Center with over 15 years’ experience as a family therapist. She worked 6 years as a Home and School Visitor/school social worker in the public school system with students from K-12. She went on to work in various clinical settings and also taught classes for Temple University and Luzerne County Community College as an adjunct professor.

In 2006, Denise opened her own private practice in Bloomsburg, PA. Through her private practice, she addresses many clinical issues through various interventions based on Contextual family therapy, play and sand therapies, Theraplay, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. She loves teaching other therapists about how to use these various techniques to help others reach a variety of people with a variety of needs

Jennifer A. Hunsinger



Qualifications/Experience: Jen is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and National Certified Counselor. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Salle University in 1995, Master of Science in Secondary School Counseling from the University of Scranton in 1999 and a graduate certificate in play therapy from Temple University Harrisburg in 2010.

Jen has 3 years experience as a secondary school counselor for grades 9-12 and 4 years experience providing in-home therapy to children and families including mobile therapy, behavioral specialist consultant and family-based. She has worked as an outpatient therapist with children and families since 2011.

Jen receives on-going training and supervision in Contextual Family Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Play-Family Therapy through the Family and Play Therapy Center in Philadelphia. Jen’s areas of competence include treating children, teens, adults and families. Jen also has a special interest in holistic health, particularly essential oils, and can serve as a resource for those interested in natural approaches to health.

Robin Joseph


Robin Joseph
Qualifications: Robin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in 1993 from the Pennsylvania State University from the College of Health and Human Services with an emphasis on Children and Adolescent Development. She completed her Master’s Degree from Temple University in 1998 in Counseling Psychology. Robin continued her training through an intensive clinical training program in Structural Family and Marital Therapy from the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center in 2014.

Experience: Robin has 10+ years experience providing in home therapy services to children, adolescents and their families including assessment, mobile therapy and behavioral specialist consultation. She has worked with children with variety of mental health issues; including ADHD, abuse and neglect, foster care situations, autism, and adjustment disorders. She continues to receive ongoing training in Play Therapy and Structural Family Therapy.

Robin’s passion is to build stronger families through therapy from a holistic perspective encompassing the psychosocial and spiritual components.
