Although we share the same office space, it is to be understood that we are each independent contractors working in a common location. Each therapist is solely responsible for the treatment that they provide to their own clients.

Denise Caldwell


Denise Caldwell
Denise Caldwell is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of social work experience with children, teens, and adults. She is a member of the Association of Play Therapists and is a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor. She is also certified as an EMDRIA trained EMDR practitioner. She completed the Traumatic Stress Studies certification under Bessel van der Kolk, M.D. at Boston’s Trauma Center. She is certified family therapist from Philadelphia Guidance Center with over 15 years’ experience as a family therapist. She has completed her Level one training in the Internal Family Systems model and also uses this approach in therapy. She also has a certification in Emotion Focused Therapy for working with couples.

She earned her master of social work degree at Temple University. Her work experience ranges from home based family therapy, school social worker, and private clinician of children, teens and adults helping with various types of issue such as trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship conflict.

In 2006, Denise opened her own private practice in Bloomsburg, PA. Through her private practice, she addresses many clinical issues through various interventions based on Contextual family therapy, play and sand therapies, Theraplay, IFS, and EMDR among others. She loves teaching other therapists about how to use these various techniques to help others. She has done trainings on various clinical topics and has also taught social work/play therapy instruction at Temple University and Marywood University as an adjunct professor.

Jennifer A. Hunsinger



Jen is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and National Certified Counselor.  Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Salle University, Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of Scranton and a graduate certificate in Play Therapy from Temple University Harrisburg.  Jen worked for 3 years as a secondary school counselor for a public high school and for 4 years providing in-home therapy to children, teens and families through mobile therapy, behavioral specialist consultant and family-based.  She has worked as an outpatient therapist since 2011 using play therapy, sand tray and Contextual Family Therapy addressing a variety of clinical needs.  Jen’s focus is on helping families improve their communication and relationships with each other and helping children heal through play.

Robin Joseph


Robin Joseph
Qualifications: Robin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in 1993 from the Pennsylvania State University from the College of Health and Human Services with an emphasis on Children and Adolescent Development. She completed her Master’s Degree from Temple University in 1998 in Counseling Psychology. Robin continued her training through an intensive clinical training program in Structural Family and Marital Therapy from the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center in 2014.

Experience: Robin has 10+ years experience providing in home therapy services to children, adolescents and their families including assessment, mobile therapy and behavioral specialist consultation. She has worked with children with variety of mental health issues; including ADHD, abuse and neglect, foster care situations, autism, and adjustment disorders. She continues to receive ongoing training in Play Therapy and Structural Family Therapy.

Robin’s passion is to build stronger families through therapy from a holistic perspective encompassing the psychosocial and spiritual components.
